The Women's Leadership and Resource Center/Campus Advocacy Network has found a new home. In honor of a our move we are throwing a BLOCK PARTY. Come celebrate with us as we unveil our new space. We invite all students, staff, and faculty to attend, get to know other student organizations and centers, interact in activities, eat FREE food, and win FREE prizes. You will receive a FREE raffle ticket upon entry. Special thanks to our cosponsors, the Office of Access and Equity, and the Honors College.
The Women's Leadership and Resource Center provides individual consultation on issues such as sexual harrassment and sexual assault. We also provide training programs for UIC departments on working more effectively with gender issues. The Campus Advocacy Network (CAN) is an innovative program that provides a team approach to advocacy in order to assist UIC students, staff and faculty who are victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking and hate crimes.
