In this workshop, students will learn about the purpose of the personal statement and things to consider when writing. Brainstorming is an essential part of preparing to write a personal statement. Through an interactive activity, students will begin the brainstorming process by reflecting on their past and current experiences. Advisors will also review common mistakes students make when writing and help students determine what experiences and personal characteristics are important to include in the essay.
Please RSVP. All workshops are held in 401 University Hall.
