The Art Institute of Chicago has just launched a new student opportunity, the Andrew W. Mellon Summer Academy and Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship. This program is funded by the Mellon foundation and seeks to begin to diversify the pipeline in the arts by focusing on the curatorial profession in US museums. Similar programs will take place at five partner museums across the country. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated undergraduates who have an interest in curatorial work or in finding out more about professions in art museums.
The ideal student applicant will be a rising sophomore or junior at the end of this school year, although we also encourage applications from non-traditional students who may be in school for more than 4 years.
You can also download the flyer below.
Deadline: April 7
