Women’s Health Initiative is a group of students interested in learning about health disparities across different communities and cultures. We see the healthcare complex as an interaction between all kinds of fields: medicine, public health, policy, law, journalism, and more.
Women's Health Initiative and UIC CHAARG are teaming up on a week-long of events for Women's Week! The week starts off with the Women Empowerment Social, followed by two workout sessions all led by UIC CHAARG. Towards the end of the week will be the Professionalism Development Workshop which will provide students with tips on building a resume. The week will end with an informative lecture on sexual and reproductive health and the use of OTC products, Plan B, and more presented by pharmacy students.
