2) A doctoral candidate in Disability Studies at UIC is working on a dissertation that addresses social relations of older adults with intellectual disabilities from a life course perspective. The project will include the development of a 15-20 minute DVD with the life stories of six individuals with intellectual disabilities. This DVD will be used as an education and advocacy tool at agencies and universities. Seeking a research assistant to help collect video materials and edit final video beginning this spring.
