Housing Move Out is Saturday, May 8, by 12pm. Residents that have not applied for Interim Housing must be checked out of their assigned room/unit by that time.
Housing applications for the Interim period (between the end of the Spring semester contract and the beginning of the Summer contract) as well as Summer 2021 are now available for students to submit. Please see the Webtools email communication sent to current Housing residents earlier this week at the following link: https://emails.illinois.edu//newsletter/1613023863.html.

Interim Housing allows current Housing residents the option to stay in Housing past the end of their semester contract for extra days, provides an opportunity for new residents to move in prior to the start of a semester contract, or for current residents wanting to remain in Housing between semester breaks.

Multiple summer housing options of varying lengths of time are offered. As a note, current Housing residents that want to remain in Housing (without needing to remove their personal belongings and checkout) into a summer contract need to also apply for Interim Housing.
Important consideration: any student graduating from their degree program will be gifted an extra one night’s stay the evening of Saturday, May 8, with checkout being on Sunday, May 9. These students are still asked to apply for Interim Housing (for one night) for tracking purposes, though they will not be charged.
